Welcome to the Amersham Wireless Society
The Amersham Wireless Society is run by Amateur Radio operators who provide various Repeaters and Beacons that
cover the South Buckinghamshire area and surrounding counties of southern England. We have three sites, two near
Amersham and one near Tring, see picture left. The 4m beacon horizontal dipoles and the 6m beacon vertical dipole
are at the top.

Donations
Running repeaters is a costly activity. If you enjoy using our repeaters or beacons a donation towards their running costs would be gratefully received.

Our web site name is derived from the frequency of the sub-audible access tone (CTCSS) that is used on our Repeaters
of 77 Hz. (GB3HZ has been changed to 82.5 Hz to avoid interference from another repeater but it was originally 77 Hz)
